The National Palace Museum Research Quarterly Submission Guidelines

The Quarterly features previously unpublished papers on subjects relating to the holdings of the Museum.

Essays may be submitted in either Chinese or English. Chinese manuscripts should be approximately 30,000 characters long; English manuscripts around twenty pages in length. The manuscript should be accompanied by an abstract, in both Chinese and English, of not more than 300 words. The abstract should also include a list of key words. Submitters should provide their full name, position, institutional affiliation, and contact address, phone number, fax, and email. Manuscripts should be double-spaced, submitted in duplicate, and accompanied by a computer version (in .txt or .doc file formats) on floppy disk. |

Once accepted by the editorial committee, please do not submit the manuscript to another publication. Manuscripts that are not accepted will be returned promptly. |

Obtaining permission to use third party copyrighted documents, illustrations, charts, and other material is the responsibility of the author. The Quarterly takes no responsibility for infringements on intellectual property and other related laws. Copyright for essays and other published material reverts to the author upon publication. Third parties interested in reprinting some or all of a published text must obtain the author's permission. |

Submissions written in English should follow the Chicago Manual of Style. For bibliographical and stylistic citations, please also consult website. |

Authors will receive two copies of the journal in which their article is featured and thirty out prints of the essay itself. |
