The Documentary

"Inside: The Emperor's Treasure" not only takes viewers worldwide deep into the treasure vaults of the National Palace Museum, but also comprehensively shows how that Museum has used modern technology to preserve its ancient artifacts, and how it uses 3D digital technology to examine ancient artifacts from the inside out.  The Museum's world-class security and strict temperature and humidity monitoring systems will also be faithfully presented before the viewers.

Lin Mun-lee, Director of National Palace Museum, states, "We must show the world the newly renovated Museum.  In addition, we hope that the world will see not only our famous Chinese collections, but also Taiwan's professionalism and dedication in managing the Museum."

"Inside: The Emperor's Treasure" is directed by the highly experienced Jonathan Schutz, and produced and written by Mike Barrett.  The English version will premiere at 9:00pm on October 28 (Sunday) in Taiwan and other parts of Asia, and the Chinese version will premiere at 9:00pm on November 3 (Saturday).  The documentary will be shown on National Geographic Channels in 34 languages and in 166 countries around the world.
