Activity introduction

The National Palace Museum(NPM) is renowned all around the world for its unrivalled collection of cultural artifacts. After main building extended especially, it uncovered a brand new modern scenery. As it just meet the anniversary of the Museum, the NPM held a photography competition - “NPM Reopens” the beauty of the National Palace Museum to encourage all of domestic and overseas spectators to convey their visualization and fondness for the NPM. We received 405pcs works totally during this activity about one month. Finally, we sifted Grand prize one winner, 2nd prize one winner, 3rd prize one winner, Excellence prize 3 winners, Outstanding Prize 6 winners and Finalist prize 30 winners, total 42 winning works via the first trial and reexamination again and again by experts. All of winners granted for abounding awards.

The Prize Presentation Ceremony and the ceremonial opening of the award-winning works exhibition for this competition was held at the National Palace Museum's main building on Oct. 18, 2007. The exhibition period is one month and closed perfectly on Nov. 18.
