Before the backdrop of today's globalisation, we should stress even more that the exchanges between peoples and cultures everywhere in the world have been a continuing process. That is why the first exhibition of the NPM's Future Gallery integrates media technology with traditional culture, with an emphasis on the transcendence of borders and their virtuality. ◎Traditional Objects from Our Cultural History The technology and media aspects of art have crossed the barrier of the actual object. For foreign visitors who are not familiar with our traditional culture, theme based presentations of our cultural history will provide the best insight and connection.
