Introducing the first international tourist attraction in Taiwan with a theme on the art of cooking – Silks Palace, NT$400 million and 2.5 years in the making, is now in its soft opening stage, providing guests to the National Palace Museum and gourmet connoisseurs the best in food & beverage services. Having a unique location at a museum that is home to one of the foremost collections of Chinese art and objects in the world, Silks Palace has a grave responsibility of advocating to the public the excellence of another fine Chinese art – its cuisines. Unifying menu items and tableware design with the museum’s historical relics, emphasizing on taste and hospitality, and portraying an atmosphere of a modern translation of tradition, Silks Palace provides a platform through which the greatness of various styles of Chinese cuisine can be exhibited to the world at reasonable prices.

The three aboveground floors are currently in operation, with various themed feasts currently under research, such as Cultural Relics Feast, Emperor’s Imperial Feast, Dong Po Feast, Formosan Delicacies Feast, and more.
