「Four Great Masters of the Ming Dynasty: Tang Yin」
Tang Yin (1470-1524), style name Bohu (which was later changed to Ziwei) and sobriquet Liuru jushi, was known for his mastery of poetry and painting. This exhibition catalogue is divided into four chapters comprising “Landscape Painting and Poetry,” “Ladies and Figures,” “Flowers, Bamboo, and Rocks,” and “The Art of Calligraphy.” In addition, three monographs on the study of Tang Yin’s calligraphy and paintings can be found. This exhibition catalogue will not only allow readers to catch a glimpse of the life story and calligraphy style of Tang Yin, but also take them on a journey to enjoy the stylish paintings and literary genius of the great master.
