2017-06-06

The "Government Service Quality Award" is the highest honor awarded to government agencies promoting public services. The NPM iPalace Channel, developed by the National Palace Museum's Department of Education, Exhibition and Information Services by using cloud technology, is a learner-oriented resource center featuring digitalized cultural art and teaching materials. The NPM iPalace Channel has the visions of expanding the use of the NPM's digital resources and fulfilling the NPM's social education responsibilities. NPM's entries submitted to the service planning competition were well-received and stood out on top among entries from 57 participating government agencies. An awards ceremony for the above competition has been scheduled by the National Development Council, which will take place on Jun. 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Lee Ching-hwi, deputy director of the National Palace Museum (NPM), will lead the Department of Education, Exhibition and Information Services team to accept the award from Vice President Chen Chien-jen.

The NPM would like to take this opportunity to share this honor with those who have shown their love and support for the museum. The award marks a good start and affirmation of the NPM's innovative services and the NPM will continue to comply with museum publicization policies in the future in order to meet the objectives of museum resource sharing and cocreation. The NPM asks for everyone's continued suggestions and support.
