Yurts in the National Palace Museum

To boost the Splendid Accessories of Nomadic Peoples: Mongolian, Muslim, and Tibetan Artifacts of the Qing Dynasty from the Museum Collection Special Exhibition experience, yurts and related furnishings will be exhibited on the 3rd floor (Gallery 300, Exhibition Area I, Main Building) of the National Palace Museum (NPM) Northern Branch beginning June 22, 2017. These yurts and furnishings were generously lent to the NPM by the Mongolian & Tibetan Affairs Commission to enable visitors to personally experience the daily life and customs of nomadic life while enjoying the exhibition.
