National Palace Museum 2027 Winter Break and Spring Semester Internship Program
The National Palace Museum (hereinafter referred to as the NPM), for the purpose of administering internship opportunities for university and college students in 2027, hereby announces the opening of applications for the Winter Break and Spring Semester Internship Program in accordance with the “Directions for the Administration of Student Internship Administration at the National Palace Museum” (hereinafter referred to as the Directions).
〈Internship Categories〉
The internship program offers 3 categories: Curatorial Research and Practice, Education and Outreach, and Library Services. The program will be administered separately at the Northern and Southern Branches.
〈Internship Period〉
1.Curatorial Research and Practice: January 18- June 30, 2027
2.Education and Outreach
˙Chinese Art Lecture Series: January 4- 29, 2027
˙Children and Youth Engagement: January 7- February 3, 2027
˙Education and Outreach at the Southern Branch: January 18- February 12, 2027
3.Library Services: January 18 -February 12, 2027
〈Application Deadline〉
The application deadline for this internship program is November 6, 2026. Applications may be submitted by email or by mail. For mailed applications, the postmark date will be used as the submission date. Applicants will be notified within 7-10 business days after the deadline regarding interview arrangements. Recommendation letters may be sent directly by referees to the internship coordinator’s email.
〈Internship Guidelines〉
This internship program is administered by each participating department. Applicants should apply directly to the section offering internship positions within their preferred department. Each section is responsible for the subsequent review and interview processes. Information on participating departments and sections, available positions, internship descriptions, and application procedures is provided in the appendix. Any matters not covered herein shall be governed by the Museum’s Directions.
